About evolve
Find out more about therapist Diane Evans, the evolve institute, and how we can help.
Meet Diane Evans
I am a child and adolescent therapist helping young people when they face difficulties or challenges. I offer a space to explore these feelings – which can appear in the form of anxiety, anger, withdrawal, overwhelm, sadness and fear. No matter how big or small the problem is, it can be a real concern for the individual and their family.
I know seeking help from someone outside the family can be daunting but, left unprocessed, these difficulties can impact school, friendships, other family members and lead to more extreme emotional and behavioural problems.
As a qualified child counsellor working with children of all ages, I am also a registered member of the BACP.
I have experience with systemic work – working with young people and their parents, siblings or families alongside. I use a range of tools, including the arts, to help young people process emotions, relationships, and experiences in a way that feels safer and less direct than talking alone.
Images, colours, metaphors, and stories often reveal themes or feelings that exist beneath the surface.
I re-trained as a therapist after learning first-hand how changes and transitions can impact our well-being and ability to cope. When we understand ourselves, we are more resilient and can establish better connections with those around us.
About evolve institute
The evolve institute brings together therapy, insights, and events in one place. It offers psychotherapy for children, teenagers, and families, to explore emotions, relationships, and the challenges that arise across different stages of life.
Alongside clinical work, the institute also shares ideas through thought pieces on psychotherapy and relational life, inviting deeper reflection on how we grow, connect, and change.
evolve creates opportunities for people who are navigating transitions or challenges – whether personal, relational, or professional – to pause, reflect, and find new ways forward.
‘Working with Diane helped our family understand each other and made it easier for us to have conversations we had been avoiding for years.’
